Dr. Sandhya Ramsook, O.D., has been practicing optometry in the Philadelphia area since 2017. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Molecular Genetics from the University of Rochester before pursuing her Doctor of Optometry degree at SUNY College of Optometry.Â
Education & ExperienceÂ
Dr. Ramsook completed her clinical training at The Cornea and Laser Institute in Teaneck, NJ, where she gained experience managing keratoconus and fitting specialty contact lenses. She also trained at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, FL, focusing on complex eye conditions. After graduation, she completed a residency in Primary Care and Ocular Disease at the Bruce Carter VA Medical Center in Miami, FL, where she worked alongside optometrists, ophthalmologists, and blind rehabilitation specialists to provide patient care.Â
Following her relocation to Philadelphia, Dr. Ramsook joined Kremer Eye Center, where she provided pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing cataract, glaucoma, and refractive surgeries.Â
